Michael Carach (MC)

(Lead Writer / Co-Author)

 

 

MCHM Co-Founder Michael Carach is an experienced writer, television producer and director. He graduated from Seton Hall University in 1991 with a BA degree in Communications and was later honored with the “Community Media Excellence Award for Television” for two half-hour documentaries which he wrote and produced.

 
     

He later became the director of the television simulcast, “Wake-Up New Jersey” at NJ 101.5 FM while also enjoying the challenging role of a weekend technical director for News 12 New Jersey. It was then that Michael would fine-tune his skills as a writer when he became the lead writer and producer of a political and issue-oriented television program for Cablevision.

Michael is currently a television production manager for a wireless audio and video company that supports the domestic and international network broadcasts of NBC, CBS & ABC/ESPN. As a production manager Michael has worked on numerous marathons and bike races and has contributed to some outdoor segments on The Late Show with David Letterman. Michael recently received two Emmy Awards for “Outstanding Technical Achievement” for his production management work on the Chicago Marathon for both CBS and NBC. With over 25 years of writing experience, Michael is the lead writer for the MCHM musical “Ripper.”
